This is the best way for me to exercise and have fun at the same time. I don’t go for group activities and this is the best way for me to rev up my heartbeat and sweat without realizing I’m exercising. I’m just having fun! I already had an older Xbox 360 that I was happy with but I purchased a new one so that we could use system link and play more as a family. That has been great. I’ve also enjoyed the new hardware including an HDMI connector and what seems to be a more quiet device.

Kinect has been very fun for us as well. My wife and I have enjoyed playing as have our two boys (12 and 8). We had a Wii and the Kinect is much like that with added capabilities like not having to use a controller at all and better graphics. The pictures taken by the game are great talking points as well.

I was very happy with this purchase! I did go ahead and add a 250 GB drive though to the unit and I would recommend either purchasing the Xbox with that drive to begin with or purchasing the drive as an add on like I did.

Buy the Weber 721001 Smokey Mountain Cooker 18 1/2 Inch Smoker before the price goes up.This is simply an easy to use, stable and effective smoker.

This replaced a bigger “traditional) smoker I had used for nearly 10 years. I should have switched long ago. The Weber is unbelievably efficient and stable. Meaning it doesn’t use that much fuel, you don’t have to contently fiddle with it. It makes long (14-18 hour) smokes easy.

And it can do higher heat smoke like a grill. I just did Thanksgiving turkey on it and this little guy held 325-350 for 4 hours with no added fuel.

But of course the real use and greatness of this product is in the long, low heat, slow cooks. I’ve done two very large pork butts over 17 hours on a single load of coals.

You simply can’t go wrong with this unit. It is fantastic!!

Panasonic Prestige NN-SD688S, 1.2cuft 1300 Watt Sensor Microwave Oven, Stainless Steel REview :
Four pluses, two minuses.

First, this is a seriously powerful oven. Second, it looks almost elegant–especially for a microwave. Third, the Panasonic inverter technology definitely helps in thawing evenly. For me, this practically eliminates all microwaves but Panasonics from consideration. Fourth, I like the dial.

Okay, now for the troublesome issues. First, as others have remarked for this and similar Panasonics: what on earth were the designers thinking with the awful display? Standing at normal height, you cannot read the display when you are close to the oven. Like, oh, say, when you are trying to USE it. I say I love the dial, but to use the dial to set a time, I need to bend over to counter height. That is simply astoundingly bad design. My five foot two wife has the same problem. Looks great from across the room, though. Second, so far when I’ve used the reheat sensor it has heated up my soup and tea until it is boiling. Perhaps this is operator error, but I’m not *that* dim a bulb. If I find the error of my ways I’ll revise this review.

Still in all, a solid feeling product that does the job with a bit of style.

KitchenAid KSM150PSOB Review :I first owned the 6 qt mixer, but it was more than I needed. I then bought the 5 1/2 qt model and its perfect. Its large enough to handle my largest mixing needs for baking. Soon I will attempt to make dough from scratch, something I have never done before. I have no dout of this being successful, I’m looking forward to it. I’m what you might call a Sunday afternoon baker, but with the tools included, I feel theres not too much that I can’t do. I am so glad I purchased this item. A great product and at a more than fair price. I have wanted this mixer for a long time and finally splurged on it. I do a lot of baking and burned up a lot of hand mixers, it seemed like every year I was buying a new one. This year I used this mixer several times and for Christmas my Husband purchased the Grinder, Slicer attachment pack and its been so helpful. I recommend this mixer to anyone who bakes a lot.
