I received the original LITTERMAID 8 years ago when I got my first cat. I have a cat 3 years later so I can then buy Mega LM900 so that they have their own boxes. After my original died a few months ago I went online to read all the criticism lm. I chose based on the LM980 Mega many excellent reviews. They really improved the motor model. You can say that is much stronger than the previous engine only by sound. I will not keep cats without LITTERMAID. It makes dealing with Littermaid LM980 litterbox so much more bearable.
